John began studying Art History at Westminster School and 15 years later continues to enjoy learning. His early interests lay in the way art and patronage were useful indicators of political change in Early Modern and industrial Europe. John continued to study at Aesthetics whilst at Oxford University where he was also his college's JCR art rep. helping to create a gallery and patronise emerging artists in Oxford

About John

John began giving private tutorials in history, art history and philsophy whilst still living in Oxford. He moved back to London and accepted a teaching post at Chelsea Independent College, heading up their history department and introducing courses in philosophy, religious studies and art history. After seven years in Chelsea John has become a free-lance tutor once more, working primarily online. He is also a writer, performer and musician with several summers spent at the Edinburgh Festival with the Oxford Imps.
